Join The Circus! Tumble, juggle, clown, and romp your way through 6 weeks of creative, inclusive circus class!
During each 2 hour Circus Class, we’ll focus on specific circus skills, including: Acrobatics and tumbling, clowning, acting and characters, juggling, pratfalls, and creating an act. The class will conclude with a fun circus performance for family and friends. Expect lots of physical movement, creative silliness, and collaborative skill-building. Open to kids in grades 3 - 8.
Instructors Althea and Ami met as kids in circus camp, and grew up performing and working with kids. Althea is a critical care paramedic, mom, disabilities advocate, and experienced performer. Her circus specialties are clown and unicycle! Ami is a historian, performer, and writer; she’s studied and performed clowning, dance, and music around the country, but her favorite thing is to work with kids and make people laugh. These two best friends are excited to share the joy and exuberance of circus arts with the Lake Mills community!
