Dance - 2024-2025 Season 

Participants and their parents (if participant is under 18) permit the taking of photos, audio and videotapes during RLAC activities for publication and use as RLAC deems necessary. If you do not want a picture or video taken of yourself, please inform the director or instructor prior to the start of the program. 

Dancers must be signed up for classes by Session B. 

We cannot accept new dancers after Session B.

2024-2025 Dance Classes

Registration will be open August 12 - September 11.

The Dance Season will be broken into three sessions.

  • Session A: September 15 - November 2 (No classes on October 31)

  • Session B: November 3 - December 20 (No classes the week of Thanksgiving)

  • Session C: January 12 - May 10 (No classes the week of Lake Mills Area School District Spring Break)

If your child is enrolled in Session A, they will be automatically enrolled in Session B and C. You will be emailed an invoice for prices listed below.

Class prices listed below are for Session A, B, and C. The Sessions dates are listed above and the balance for each class must be paid the first week of the session unless you arrange a payment plan with Rene.

Session B includes a $30 costume down payment. 

In addition to the prices listed below, there will be a costume fee due in March, 2025 (Details coming soon!)

 Intermediate Ballet 4th-6th Grades  Mondays 5:55-6:55pm   Ms. Tessa This class continues building up the skills learned in previous Ballet classes. Students will develop stronger technique and body alignment at the barre, in the center, and across the floor as they prepare to move up into Advanced Ballet. This is an additional class for our oldest and most advanced Ballet students to continue their training and strengthening through learning classic Ballet Solo and/or Duo Variations. Students will learn several variations together and then choose which variation they would like to perfect for the spring recital.

 Ms. Tessa This class is the highest level of Ballet where students will have their knowledge of Ballet movement and technique tested as they continue strengthening their barre, across the floor, and center combinations. Students in this class will also begin more intense strengthening to prepare them for future Pre-Pointe and/or Pointe classes.  70/100/210 80/110/240 
 Pointe By Invitation Only 

Wednesdays

7:15-8:15pm 

Ms. Tessa  Registration is by instructor invitation only. Requirements include being at least 12 years old and having at least 2 years of experience in Advanced Ballet. If you meet these requirements but have taken Advanced Ballet at another location, you can contact us to schedule an eligibility meeting with the instructor. For students getting their first pair of shoes, we will schedule an additional day to go and get fittings. This class will teach the basics of Pointe to beginners and continue training for those already on Pointe.  60/90/180 70/100/210 

 Acrobatics/

Jazz I

 2nd - 3rd grades

5:00 - 6:00pm 

Ms. Mallory   This class is a great place for your child to learn beginner tricks and tumbling, as well as experience the fun, free style of Jazz. We will practice not only safe tumbling, but also the structure of Jazz dance, and how to combine the styles together into one. 60/90/180 70/100/210
Intermediate Lyrical 4th - 6th Grades

Thursdays

7:10-8:10pm 

 Ms. Mallory This class is a more contemporary take on Ballet. Using many of the same moves as Ballet, this class will teach students how to take things already learned and loosen their bodies to create more dramatic, emotional movements. Floor work will also be taught in this class, adding another layer to the style.    60/90/180 70/100/210
