Theater Camp

Mondays through Fridays

August 15-26, 2022

10am - noon

Welcome to Theater Camp! This is a two week summer intensive camp to immerse students into the world of theater. In two short weeks, the class will work together to put on a short play, develop their characters, and connect with their inner drama. Not only will students learn the art of acting, but they will also be able to participate in set design, developing costumes for their characters, and connecting with classmates. Students will be encouraged to express themselves in any way and put their all into everything they do.

There will be a performance on the evening of Friday, August 26. Details to come!

Open to kids going into Grade 5 or above.

Registration is open now through August 7.

Members - $150

Nonmembers - $175


Theater Class

This class welcomes students into the incredible world of the stage. Students will learn the basics of actin, and progress their skills of expression. Improvisation will encourage students to step out of their comfort zone, and interact with fellow classmates to crate something entirely their own. Theater class is a safe space for children to come and express themselves and share their artistic side. 

Wednesdays, 5:45-6:45pm

Grades 5 and older

Session A - Members - $55; Nonmembers - $65

Theater will follow the following sessions:

  • Session A - September 18 - November 5 (7 weeks)
  • Session B - November 6 - December 23 (7 weeks - no classes the week of Thanksgiving)
  • Session C - January 9 - May 13 (Tentative Performance Date) (17 weeks - No classes the week of Lake Mills Area School District Spring Break)
